Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website)

Data from other sources

We also may obtain contact details and other information about you from third parties, including:

» Social networks that you grant permission to the Finders.sg Service to access your data on third party networks such as FB or Instagram;

» Organisations, churches with which we offer services in co-operation or engage in joint activities; and/or

» Publicly available sources and data suppliers to validate or supplement the information we hold or to support our service.

The Website provider may automatically collect information about how you and your device interact with our website, such as:

» For location-aware Services, the physical location of your device.

» An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

We collect this data through the servers of our Providers and the use of cookies and other technologies. You can control cookies through your browser’s settings and other tools.  However, if you choose to block certain cookies, you may not be able to register, login, or access certain parts or make full use of the Service. Purpose for collection

Generally, personal data is collected for the following purposes:

» Providing a service (eg. counselling, prayer, matchmaking, etc.)

» Keeping you informed of events, seminars, training programmes, courses, retreats, concerts, and other programmes that we organise from time to time for your participation.

Our Service Providers

Depending on the Service provided, we share some of your personal information (eG. if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email) with our email service provider, access and authentication service provider, event venues and IT service providers as well as with payment processors; so as to process the information as necessary to provide the Service, complete a transaction or fulfil your request or otherwise on our behalf based on our instructions and in compliance with this privacy policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Our website may let you post and share personal information, comments, messages, materials and other content. Any such information that you disclose publicly or in discussion for a in the Service may be collected and used by others, may be indexed by search engines, and might not be able to be removed. Accessing and updating your information

The Service may allow registered users to directly access their account information and make corrections or updates at any time.

Keeping such information up to date is solely the responsibility of the user. Registered users may also close their account directly through the Service or by contacting the Service’s customer support.

Data retention

We will hold personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws. We shall cease to retain personal data as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the purpose for which that personal data was collected is no longer being served by retention of the personal data.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).

Data security

We take precautions to safeguard your personal information through the use of appropriate technical and organisational measures. However, you should take all precautions when providing personal data via the internet and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal data which is transferred from you or to you via the Internet.

Situations not requiring consent

We will not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party, without your consent except in the following circumstances: We may share non-personal, non-individual information in aggregate form with third parties for business purposes, e.g. providing statistics to Government Ministries or their appointed agencies/organisations carrying out the surveys/projects/tasks assigned under the purview of the laws and regulations.

We will update this privacy policy from time to time.  Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website will be taken as acceptance of the updated policy changes, but we will seek your fresh consent before we collect more personal data from you or we wish to use or disclose your personal data for new purposes.
